Childcare and early childhood education at the Stella Sanford Child Development Center for children ages 2-7 and support services for parents who are working or attending school. A summer program for school-aged children is offered at a satellite location.

Description:
Focus is placed on the child's pro-social development through play and planned experiences that minimize competition and encourage cooperation. Through an atmosphere of participation and communication, parents are encouraged to involve themselves in the program's activities which include:

Daily classroom lesson plans
Educational screening
Immunization clinic
Field trips and special activities (tee ball, swimming, etc.)
Transportation to and from school
Parenting classes
Family functions
Although there is consistently a waiting list, Child Protective Services clients are given priority
