
The Council on Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence is a private, non-profit agency that is dedicated to helping victims of sexual assault and domestic violence become empowered in their quest for dignity and self-respect.
The purpose of CSADV's program is to provide a central agency where victims can receive assistance, reassurance, support, and a sense of stability.
As a volunteer, you can be involved with stopping domestic violence and sexual assault in your community. Your efforts strengthen you community and help stop the cycle of violence. How can I become a volunteer?
Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older and must be able to observe strict rules of confidentiality. Volunteers must not have been involved in a domestic violence or sexual assault incident or used agency services within the last year. You will receive an application to fill out, and a time will be set up to interview you. Volunteers who provide direct services to victims are required to become certified advocates by completing an initial 30-hour training program that is provided by CSADV.
