Microsoft joins Cisco, Apple, Brocade, Dell, Symantec and Others in Expanding Certification Management Platform

San Jose, CA (PRWEB) July 10, 2014

As the need for a truly universal professional certification management tool grows, EduRoadmap today announced the addition of Microsofts complete certification catalog to their growing database of certifications. Microsoft joins other industry leaders, such as Cisco, Apple, Brocade, Dell and others, in EduRoadmaps database of certified professional education programs that its users can manage through the platforms set of tools.

Current and prospective Microsoft certificate holders will now be able to leverage EduRoadmap in planning their professional education. The presence of Microsoft certifications alongside other industry leaders enables technology professionals to manage certificates from multiple vendors in a single place. Microsofts certification catalog is among the largest and most complex in the industry.

No professional educational tool is complete without Microsofts extensive offering, said David Condensa, founder and chief executive officer, EduRoadmap. As we look to the future and the needs of the entire community of technology professionals, Microsofts certification programs are key building blocks for promising careers at all levels.

The addition of the Microsoft certification catalog precedes the rollout of employer level accounts on EduRoadmap, which are slated to become available beyond the initial beta users later this summer. Employer level accounts will allow participants in company certification programs from Microsoft and other large vendors and manufacturers to manage their vendor certification levels in a single place. Employer accounts also enable an organization to see the complete certification status across their entire workforce.

The core functionality of the EduRoadmap platform includes:

  • Alert notification for the changing status of certifications and requirements
  • Tools to allow Individual users to compare certification requirements from different vendors
  • The ability to instantly share complete professional educational history between Individuals and Employers
  • Single source management for Employers to manage vendor certification levels and professional education status across an entire organization

Microsoft joins several other top technology vendors in EduRoadmaps platform, which is currently in an open beta for Individual users. The company plans to feature complete catalogs from at least 20 of the top technology certification vendors before exiting beta later this summer.

EduRoadmap is free for individuals who would like to manage their professional education portfolio on the platform. Employer level accounts start at $5,000/year for businesses with up to 50 employees and increase with the number of employees.
