Attorney Scott Behrens to provide compliance, employee benefits expertise

KANSAS CITY, Mo., June 19, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Lockton announced the expansion of its national employee benefits practice with the addition of Scott Behrens, J.D., as Assistant Vice President, Compliance Attorney in Lockton Benefit Group's Compliance Services practice.

Attorney Scott Behrens joins the compliance services team in Lockton's Kansas City based National Employee Benefits Practice.

In his role, Scott provides advice on ERISA and related employee benefits compliance issues to Lockton's account service teams and their employee benefits clients.

Before joining Lockton, Scott was an attorney for Husch Blackwell, where he consulted with clients of all types and sizes to implement and maintain legal compliance for their employee benefits, including both qualified and nonqualified retirement plans.

Scott received his bachelor's degree from Drake University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. He then graduated with honors from Drake University Law School.
