University of South Dakota Breaks Ground on New Athletics Building

VERMILLION, SD - The University of South Dakota broke ground today on a new athletics building

The new Sports Performance Enhancement Complex will feature:
6,000 seat basketball and volleyball arena
research space for occupational therapy, physical therapy, kinesiology and sports sciences
sports medicine programs
nine-lane NCAA certified outdoor track
two soccer fields.


The new complex is expected to cost 66-million dollars and open in August of 2016.
