Local Golf Tournament Benefits Ronald McDonald Charity

DAKOTA DUNES, SD - The weather today was not great for golfing, but that didn't stop folks from playing for a good cause.

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Siouxland hosted their 4th annual golf classic today. This year they played at the Dakota Dunes Country Club. All proceeds go to furthering the Ronald McDonald House's mission of improving the health of children.

Velvet Jeratowski from the Ronald McDonald House Charities said, "The Ronald McDonald House is a non-profit, non-federally funded agency. So any help we can get from the Siouxland community is welcomed. And when we have an event like this, and we see the turn out that we have, it's always exciting to see them support our home away from home."

Golfers were also invited to be a part of some raffles and auctions.
