Nationwide truck wrap manufacturer JMR Graphics responds to an article discussing the content of the new Baltimore Orioles billboard

BOHEMIA, NY / myprgenie.com / ACCESSWIRE / May 05, 2014 / JMR Graphics, a nationwide truck wraps manufacturer, comments on an article discussing the new Baltimore Orioles billboard and the public reaction to this billboard.

According to an April 15th article published by CBS DC titled “This Orioles Billboard Is Less Than 7 Miles from Nationals Park,” a new billboard for the Baltimore Orioles has been placed along I-295 in Maryland. It can be seen by those going towards Washington, D.C. The billboard has a photo of three players: Adam Jones, Chris Davis and Manny Machado. It also has the phone number that fans can use to purchase tickets. It is located about 7 miles away from the stadium of another baseball team, the Washington Nationals.

TJ Panell, a representative from nationwide truck wraps manufacturer JMR Graphics, says, “Out of home advertising, such as billboards, allow for strategic placement that other forms of advertising cannot always achieve. For example, the Orioles’ billboard is playfully placed close to their rival’s stadium. Many brands are beginning to interact with each other via out of home advertisements in similarly playful manners.”
