Warrior Entertainment Asks to Join IRGC Lawsuit

SIOUX CITY, IA -

Yet another party wants to join a lawsuit over gambling rights in Sioux City.

Ho-Chunk Incorporated's Warrior Entertainment has filed a petition to join a lawsuit against the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission.

It claims the commission did not properly evaluate the company's application to renovate the old Warrior Hotel into a casino.

Warrior Entertainment was one of three companies applying for a gaming license that ultimately was given to Sioux City Entertainment's proposal for a Hard Rock Casino and Hotel.

The company says with all it has invested in the process, it should be given a voice in the pending lawsuit which was filed by the Argosy Casino against the commission.

The City of Sioux City has also been added as a participant in the suit as well.
