Innovation Market Offers Launching Point for Entrepreneurs

SIOUX CITY, IA -

Siouxlanders have had an opportunity to take their new ideas to the next level during "Entrepalooza" week, and tonight they got to showcase their work to the public.

Sioux City GO - the Sioux City Growth Organization - featured its Innovation Market showcase at the Commerce Building Downtown.

The market is an opportunity for entrepreneurs to meet like-minded people who are ready and willing to help take on new ideas and put them into action.

There were several guest speakers who provided advice for young kick-starters, and entrepreneurs showcased their ideas to be viewed and critiqued by the public. They also had the opportunity to get their projects funded.

"Basically it's just a event where people can... There's free food, obviously there's cocktails provided and you just kind of meet and mingle and kind of learn what you do and how I can help you out, and maybe do business together," said Innovation Market participant Michael Billings.

This was the fourth year the showcase has been held.
