Siouxland Home Show Starts at Convention Center

SIOUX CITY, IA -

The annual Siouxland Home Show is underway at the Sioux City Convention Center.

This was the 57th year for the show. Hundreds of people have made their way downtown to see the displays and booths dedicated to home and business improvement.

It's the ultimate one-stop shop for anyone wanting to do some decorating or remodeling.
There's even some booths for the kids to enjoy.

So many suppliers and vendors have come to this years' show that an extra room was opened up adjacent to the main floor.

As the show gets bigger and better each year... the community gets to see the benefits.

"It's got a good, good reputation. We get people from 150 miles away that come to our show. We started giving back to charitable organizations with some proceeds from our home show," said Nancy Moos, Executive Officer of the Home Builders Association.

The home show will be going on through Sunday. It runs from 1 to 9 Friday, 11 to 9 on Saturday, and noon to 5 on Sunday. Admission is $5.
