Nebraska Senate Candidate Visits Siouxland

SOUTH SIOUX CITY, NE -

This afternoon a familiar face returned to northeast Nebraska to talk about his bid for the U-S Senate.

Democrat Dave Domina met with supporters at the Dakota Perk coffee shop in South Sioux City.

Domina grew up on a farm in Cedar County and practiced law for years in Norfolk, before moving to Omaha in 1989.

Currently he's representing three landowners in a suit challenging the constitutionality of the state law used to re-route the Keystone XL pipeline.

Domina is the first Democrat to seek the spot being left open by the retirement of Republican Mike Johanns.

Four Republicans and one independent are also running.
