SSG Steven Blass Funeral & Memorial Fund

(ESTHERVILLE, IA) Services are set for the Siouxland soldier killed in a helicopter crash in southern Afghanistan last week. 27–year–old Staff Sergeant Steven Blass from Estherville, Iowa, died in the crash that killed five Americans on March 11th. A visitation will be held Monday, March 25th from 4 to 8 PM at the Estherville High School gym. The funeral will be Tuesday, March 26th at 2 PM at the gym followed by an interment with full military honors at North Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Spencer, Iowa. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to the SSG Steven Blass Memorial Fund at the Employees Credit Union in Estherville.
