Former KMEG/KPTH News Director Jeff Raker Dies

Jeffrey Raker

(SIOUX CITY) - Former KMEG/KPTH News Director Jeff Raker passed away suddenly Friday morning in Alabama.

Raker served as News Director at the Siouxland CBS and Fox affiliates from 2005 through 2011. He can be seen in this Game Night promo from 2009.

Raker collapsed at work in WTVY in Dothan, Alabama, where he returned as News Director in 2012, having previously served in the same capacity from 1997 through 1999.

Raker is survived by his wife, Darcy, and two children, Zachary and Alyssa. Memorial services have not been announced.
