(SIOUX CITY, IA) - Three Sioux City people spent Monday night at a different home.
A neighbor on West 3rd Street noticed smoke and flames coming out of the upstairs of their home Monday afternoon and knocked on the door to let the three people inside know what was going on.
Firefighters were able to put out the fire. You could clearly spot damage to the windows, roof and siding.
"Smoke, smoke, coming out the window, the roof, the chimney. It's pretty bad," said next door neighbor, Sasaya Branch.
Investigators are looking into the cause of the fire. The American Red Cross was on the scene to find the three people temporary living arrangements.
