A Riveting Docu-Novel Seamlessly Coalesces Fiction with Fact
(PRWEB) January 27, 2013
SUMNER, Ill. – (January 25, 2013) – Author Willard D. Gray orchestrates a new riveting docu-novel and adroitly weaves it with an incredibly affecting plot and equally endearing characters. Seamlessly coalescing fiction with fact, Gray’s characters take off and draws a life of their own in End of a Silence: Full Moon over Fox Prairie.
End of Silence: Full Moon over Fox Prairie is a vivid retelling of some events on the Illinois prairie that would scar settlers of the area for generations. For almost twenty-five years, a corrupt judge and his associates had run roughshod over the honest, hardworking farmers of Fox Prairie, particularly in his defense of the town ne'er-do-well, the vicious Jeff White. But when Jeff finally turns to murder and to one of the most respected men of the area no less, the judge can protect him and his past shenanigans no longer.
Based on historical records and family remembrances, End of Silence: Full Moon over Fox Prairie offers a vivid portrait of the harsh yet rewarding life of Illinois’ pioneer forebears. Gray, a descendant himself of the main characters, writes with passion and honesty.
In between the lines of End of Silence: Full Moon over Fox Prairie, Gray delves deeper into the experiences of his forebears and spins a story that pays more attention to the unvarnished truth of the past.
