Carrollton, Texas (PRWEB) January 23, 2013

Insurance Technologies Corporation (ITC), a leading provider of marketing, rating and management software and services, announced today the addition of automated insurance rating information for both homeowner’s and tenant’s property and liability coverage to TurboRater, its comparative rater, in Kentucky and Ohio.

Accessible from any Internet-connected PC, TurboRater automates the process of producing multiple insurance quotes through a single system to help agents fulfill customer demands instantly and accurately. Once an agent enters the data, the quote information is electronically submitted to carriers who in turn calculate and return the rate. In addition to reducing the risk of typos and inconsistent entries, TurboRater saves agents time as they consult only one system to compare multiple quotes.

“Today's customer expects prompt service. For independent agents to continue to compete with direct writers, they need to be able to provide a competitive rate instantly,” said AnMarie Bozick, CIC, comparative rating product manager at ITC. “Our insurance rating software TurboRater already gives agents that power for auto insurance and now it will provide the same ability for homeowners and renters insurance.”

TurboRater is available in 15 states with homeowners and tenants insurance currently available in Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Oklahoma, Texas and Wisconsin. Bozick said, “We will launch access to home and tenants insurance in our remaining states this year.” Those states are Kansas, Missouri, New Mexico, Tennessee and Virginia.
