The third annual Sioux City Growth Organization Innovation Market is set for Tuesday, February 26th.
Thanks to the City of Sioux City and Downtown Partners, contestants can look forward to something new this year: a second place prize of $2,500.
That's in conjunction with the $5,000 first prize.
The contest is a way for entrepreneurs to get their ideas out there, and get a little cash boost as well.
"The past couple of years we've had an attendance ranging from about 150 to 200 people for the event, ideas between 90 and 100, at least 90 different ideas come through," said Becca Feauto, Innovation Market Co-Chair.
Anyone can submit an idea for a business or service.
