Author Martha Kirkpatrick announces the release of ‘Pendo’

Indianapolis (PRWEB) January 21, 2013

In her new bookPendo: God Loves Africa!” (published by AuthorHouse), author Martha Kirkpatrick revisits her experiences of working as a missionary in Africa for 41 years. Her memoir offers readers a unique perspective of the development and independence of African countries, as well as the modernization of the societies.

By telling her story, Kirkpatrick hopes to share with readers the thrill and love that she, her husband and her in-laws have for Africa and her people. The book also serves a particularly personal purpose for Kirkpatrick and her husband, allowing her to tell their grandchildren and friends what living in Africa was like. “Pendo” also explores the transformations God makes in peoples lives when they follow Him.

Kirkpatrick hopes her book brings hope to the poor, providing them with an example of success to show them what is possible in their lives. “I wish I had another life to give to Africa,” she says.
