A non-profit utilizes a new mobile application for outreach to those suffering from depression.
(PRWEB) January 04, 2013
TWLOHA stands for “To Write Love On Her Arms.” It is a non-profit movement dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury and suicide. The organization exists to encourage, inform, inspire, while also directly investing in treatment and recovery.
By creating a mobile application using the app builder at appsbar.com, the organization has expanded its digital offerings to mobile platforms, allowing users to learn more about the vision and mission of this group through a smartphone or tablet.
Along with providing the full TWLOHA story, the app also offers links to a suicide hotline, and help for victims of rape of domestic abuse. The app is also linked to the Kristen Brooks Hope Center and its various crisis hotlines.
The app optimized for both iOS and Android smartphone use.
