(SIOUX CITY, IA) - You can still check out the Sioux City Art Center's Leonardo DA Vinci exhibit for the next month, but starting Tuesday, September 18, families can play detectives for the "Mona is Missing" promotion.
Back in 1911, someone stole Da Vinci's masterpiece, Mona Lisa, from the walls of the Louvre.
Now, the Art Center has placed poster copies of the painting at different Sioux City businesses.
Families can search for those posters every week for a prize.
"Figure out what business it is. On our Facebook page, we're going to be releasing those as well as here at the Art Center through Visitors Services and those clues will be available on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10 a.m. They'll be posted to Facebook at that time," said Erin Weber-Dreesen with the Art Center.
You get to keep the Mona Lisa poster and receive a family four pack of tickets to the Da Vinci exhibit as well as lunch at the Art Center. The competition starts this Tuesday through the end of the Da Vinci exhibit, October 14.
