A familiar face in South Dakota politics may make another run for office.
Former South Dakota Governor Mike Rounds was in Dakota Dunes Thursday afternoon for a Republican Lincoln Day Dinner.
He says he's focusing on the 2012 election right now, but a U.S. Senate run in 2014 isn't out of the question.
He's looking into forming an exploratory committee, but it's too early to tell if you'll see his name on the ballot.
"Its not a commitment to run, it is one that says I am looking at the possibilities and I may very well have expenditures involved in that or associated with it," said Former Governor Rounds. "I'm going to take a look at the 2014 United States Senate race, I don't know if I will do it or not."
Rounds' exploratory committee should be formed within the next month or so, don't expect to hear whether or not Rounds will run for office until sometime next year.
