(SIOUX CITY, IA) It was a scary ride for one truck driver today.
The driver was heading north on I-29 just
past the Hamilton Boulevard on ramp when he heard a loud crunch, and
his 18–wheeler started to lose control.
He veered off to the side, and construction
workers let him pass through the concrete barriers. When he got out, he
saw the damage.
The roof to his trailer was coming off!
The tow truck employees say that the walls on
these types of trucks rely heavily on each other, and when one is
damaged, it affects the integrity of the entire structure.
Luckily no one was hurt in this unusual accident.
