Rainbow Snow Helps Beat The Siouxland Heat

Posted:
SIOUX CITY, IA -

Some folks in Sioux City found the perfect way to cool off Monday by finding some snow, Rainbow Snow that is!

Quite a few people stopped by the stand on the corner of Macomb and Morningside in Sioux City, the crew said they made well over 300 snow cones Monday.

Some of the kids who were cooling off with an icy treat said it was the perfect way to beat the heat.

"I got a Rainbow Snow because its like 90 degrees outside, I'm hot, I'm sweaty," said Alex Meisner. "I went swimming and still wasn't cooled off, so this always helps."

If you're thinking of stopping by, Rainbow Snow's open from 1:00 PM - 10:00 PM Monday through Saturday, and 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Sunday.
