SIOUX CITY, IA -
A fast paced build came to an end today.
Just a week ago, the Riverside home was little more than a foundation, and today, it's complete, and ready for move-in day.
More than 60 contracting companies pitched in countless volunteer hours for this Habitat for Humanity 'Blitz Build.'
This is the third time Habitat has teamed up with the Homebuilders Association, and every year, the build gets a little easier.
"After a couple years, you get to know the process of it, the procedure, the organization of it, and each year that we do it, we get a little bit better at the scheduling of everything, there are some bumps in the road along the way, but this seems so much smoother, it went very, very well," said Nancy Narciso with the Homebuilders Association of Greater Siouxland.
The new home even has donated sod and landscaping in the front yard.
