SIOUX CITY, IA -
As the school year comes to an end, some students got to leave their mark.
Kindergartners and new students at Crescent Park Elementary painted their hand prints on hallway walls, something they've done since 1995.
The prints are a fun decoration, and add a sense of unity to the school.
"We add everybody's hand prints from people that come, visit, work, volunteer, the children love coming back and finding the hand prints. Children come back who are in high school, who are in college, and point out, this is where I put my hand, and they can find their classmates," said Crescent Park teacher Sue Mullin.
The prints on the walls even include a teacher who went to Crescent Park in 4th grade.
