SIOUX CITY, IA -
Westwood FFA members bring the farm to downtown Sioux City.
Hunt Elementary Students got to see cows, goats, and a tractor up close during Westwood's Ag Day.
The event aims to show kids what it takes to get food from the fields to the kitchen table.
"Growing up on a farm and living on a farm has had an impact on my life, so it's really cool to know that other kids are going to learn about agriculture, too, not just people that live on farms, other people that live in town, they need to see what else is in Iowa," said Shea Topf, President of Westwood's FFA.
Westwood High School has been holding Ag Days for the last 13 years.
