My Hot Electronics Expands Their Website To Carry Jewelry, Clothes, and More

My Hot Electronics, in an extensive expansion process, announced on Friday that the store will begin carrying clothes, sporting goods, jewelry, and other non-electronic products in order to increase brand awareness.

My Hot Electronics announced on Friday that many more products will be added to its extensive product line. The store has been expanded to carry items in the area of clothes, jewelry,bulk food items,health products and furniture.

"The name 'My Hot Electronics' has started out as an electronics store, but at the same time, you have to build and expand your overall brand." says DaVaughn Lucas, owner of My Hot Electronics. "In order to be successful and to expand to a broader and smarter internet base, we had to make sure that we appealed to a broad base and with items that in some way, could tie back into the electronics world, either directly or indirectly."

One of the areas that completely went against the traditional grain of the store was the addition of wedding/engagement rings. "Many people, especially men, are huge technology fans and are also in committed relationships and could possibly think about marriage at some point. Our theory is 'why not have a little bit of everything for everyone. It can be done, just takes great execution."

With the sporting goods, consumers can now purchase jerseys and other collectible items from their favorite teams in the NBA, NHL, NFL, MLB, NCAA and soccer leagues as well as sporting equipment. In food, consumers can purchase niche foods, such as organic products that are sold in bulk for lower prices, similar to a wholesale price.

Lucas did promise that the core identity of the store will be the electronics that made the store successful since the company launched operation in 2011. "We know who we are. But this will not be the end of expansion for the My Hot Electronics brand. It is only the beginning."
