Southern Hills Mall celebrated Mother's Day a little early tonight.
It was National Mom's Night Out; a chance for her to get out and have some fun.
The free evening included a dozen booths featuring homemade goodies, giving away prizes, wine and even "mom-tinis".
The first 100 women got a goodie-bag chalk-full of freebies, gift cards, coupons and sample products.
The mall used Facebook and Twitter to get feedback from moms about what they wanted to see at the event and it grew from there.
"As a shopping center, moms are very important to us. They make the bind decisions many times for the household. They do the shopping for the kids, they do the shopping for their husbands and this is our way of giving back to them. So we are able to pamper them we are able to give them free-bees and we're able to give them to just make sure that they have fun," said Kristen Walter-Wenell with Southern Hills Mall.
After a successful inaugural event, the mall is already planning for next year so mark your calendars for the Thursday before Mother's Day 2013.
