Nebraska Senate Candidate Visits South Sioux City


Commander in Chief isn't the only seat up for grabs this November.

With U.S. Senate primaries quickly approaching, one candidate has a strong endorsement.

Nebraska State Senator Deb Fischer received the support of Todd and Sarah Palin today, leading up to next Tuesday's primary.

"That was nice to be able to have that endorsement, she's a very accomplished person, known nationally, of course, and I admire her for her work that she has done as governor of Alaska, I admire her for the principles she stands on, and she takes on tough issues," said Fischer during a campaign stop in South Sioux City. 

Fischer says she plans to continue her positive campaign, while she says her opponent, Jon Bruning, goes negative.
