SIOUX CITY, IA -
You can add homegrown vegetables and farm fresh food to your shopping list.
The Sioux City Farmer's Market opened this morning with vendors offering everything from asparagus to eggs and baked goods.
The market is in its fourth year at the corner of Tri-View Avenue and Pearl Street and hopes to add new vendors each week.
"I know that what they have to offer will change throughout the summer as different things are ready to be harvested, so it's always fun to come back throughout the year and see all the, there's new stuff every week," said Lindsay Hindman of Sioux City.
The market is open from 8 A.M. to 1 P.M. every Wednesday and Saturday.
And starting on July 16th, vendors will also be set up from 3 to 7 P.M. every Monday evening.
