Pierson, IA Man Killed In Tractor Accident

PLYMOUTH COUNTY, IA -

A Pierson, Iowa man is dead after a rollover tractor accident.

The crash happened last night on Tamarack Avenue south of 280th Street in rural Plymouth County when the driver swerved to avoid a vehicle parked on a bridge.

The tractor left the road, rolling into the river and pinning the driver, 48 year old David Klingensmith of Pierson, underneath.

Klingensmith died in the accident. The Iowa State Patrol is investigating the crash.
