The smell of gourmet popcorn filled the farmer's market, too.
Koated Kernels, a local specialty popcorn company from Jolly Time opened their booth today.
Started by two sisters from the Jolly Time family, they feature gourmet popcorn like double cheddar and cinnamon roll.
"Some of it was people giving us ideas, some of it was us trying to figure out the different flavors that people are interested in, besides our cheese flavors, sweet things like a cinnamon roll, well let's try it on popcorn, and it's worked pretty well for us so far," said Beth Boetcher, Co-Owner and Founder of Koated Kernels.
The Koated Kernels company handles all aspects of their production from flavor development to taste testing and marketing.
