BPI Plant Closures May Affect Corporate Staff

DAKOTA DUNES, SD -

As BPI has worked to restore the company's name and save all of its plants, it announced yesterday that the company facilities in Amarillo, Texas; Garden City, Kansas; and Waterloo, Iowa will close on May 25th.

The result of that announcement has BPI leaders evaluating its corporate presence at the company's headquarters in Dakota Dunes. We contacted BPI about that possibility and here's what they had to say:

"Regrettably, this evolving situation has also forced us to begin to evaluate the impact these changes in production may have on our corporate personnel.  While it is impossible to predict the scope and timing of any such developments, we remain grateful for the continued support and loyalty of our employees and appreciate everyone's understanding and patience during these challenging times."
