As the most popular event series at the Osher Marin JCC, The Summer Nights Festival is a series of five celebrations for all ages with live music, dancing; food, cocktails and play for all ages. Set in a natural and safe outdoor venue, this year's line up will include evenings of bluegrass, Euro-gypsy, African, Cajun and Cuban music. Sol Food Restaurant and Roadside BBQ will join in providing dinners or to add to your favorite family picnic.

Having grown as the most popular event series at the Osher Marin JCC, The Summer Nights Festival has become the family-friendly, clean, safe and fog-free venue to celebrate friends, family and live music together in Marin. As eclectic as Marin audiences, the line-up offers tastes of sound and food from around the world with something for every age, from 2 to 102.
Five Saturday nights in a row, beginning July 7 music of the world comes to Marin.
Sat 7/7: Bluegrass Night — Banjo maestro Bill Evans opens for Hot Buttered Rum- Bluegrass music from Traditional to the Next Generation. Harmonies and foot stompin' fun.
Sat. 7/14: Cultural Fusion Night — Rupa and the April Fishes- Hybrid music from Southern France, Spain, Chanson, Gypsy, reggae, Klezmer, Mexico and beyond. Singing in multiple languages Rupa leads the band through a cultural taste musical dishes.
Sat. 7/ 21: African Music Night! — This long awaited tour brings legendary Oliver Mtukudzi & The Black Spirits to Marin for a rare performance. Dance on the turf under the summer sky.
Sat. 7/ 28: Cajun Night - with Steve Riley & the Mamau Playboys. Crip, clean and cohesive Cajun French music from the backwaters of Southwest Louisiana. The wooden dance floor will be set on the turf and pre-event dance instruction begins @ 6:35
Sat. 8/4: Cuban Music Night —Orqueta La Moderna Tradicion - Violins and flutes weave lilting melodies against the backdrop of driving Afro-Cuban rhythms. Dance floor set and pre-event dance instruction @ 6:35
The outdoor field and playground are located uphill from the JCC, surrounded on all sides by the Marin Hills and the JCC building, creating a self-contained, safe, outdoor park-like environment that is expansive and open, yet accessible only through the JCC and removed from the street. A place for music, fun and family.

Single tickets- $20 Advance $25 Day-Of Purchases/ $5 Kids 6-17- under 6 are FREE.
