Hollis Hart will present work in an interactive art exhibition entitled “The Little Fckrs” from Friday May 18, 2012 through Sunday May 20, 2012 at 2042 Bay Street, Los Angeles, CA 90021, from 1pm-7pm. Admission is open to the public. Tickets are $5 at the door or online at http://www.thelittlefckrs.eventbrite.com (contact Hollis for press passes).
In this interactive exhibition, Hart presents a series of artworks that embrace the spirit of the “The Little Fckrs,” the creatures that “make us tick and keep us sick”.
The installation is comprised of several rooms and multimedia and interactive displays, including a Chalkboard Room, a Teepee Confessional, and a Fictional Evaluation and Profiling by some resident writers.
A “Little Fckr” is anyone who focuses on a useless skill. They can be innocent, sweet, naïve, mean, self-destructive, cleaners, or worker bees that float around completing menial tasks.
Random Facts about The Little Fckrs:

--TLF entertain absurd scenarios in the minds of the bored and tamed, catharsis.
--TLF control the amount of butterflies in pits of stomachs. They store all those discarded Participation Awards.
--TLF make us tick and keep us sick.
Good Artists Borrow, and Great Artists Steal, While The Little Fckrs Borrow and Never Return...
In the end, we are all a bunch of Little Fckrs...
Hollis Hart is an LA-based artist living and working in downtown. She was not pleased with the rapid set up and tear down of previous shows she had participated in. So she decided to completely absorb her aesthetic past the canvas, up the walls, across floors, through peep holes and more. Rather than list the schools she went to or where she has exhibited, she invites Los Angeles to participate in the spirit and tomfoolery of The Little Fckrs and celebrate our human hiccups.
