SIOUX CITY, IA -
A hometown grocery store opened a new location today.
Fareway opened their new store across from the Southern Hills Mall this morning, after moving from their Transit Avenue location.
The new store offers wider aisles, an on-location bakery, and the same service customers have come to expect.
They hope their new neighborhood brings new customers through the doors.
"This location will be great, we're really excited to make sure all of our customers come up and at least take a look at it, I think we're going to have a lot to offer and they're going to be amazed at how beautiful it is," said Mike Hammel, Grocery Manager at the store.
With a larger building and more selection, the store added about 25 new employees.
