Receding Water Helps WinnaVegas Ditch the Ducks

Posted:

The road to WinnaVegas casino has been closed for about two months so management has been using amphibious vehicles called ducks to get customers, employees and vendors to the casino. Now that's no longer the case.

Road crews are still working to fix damage to the main access road, but once that's finished, everything will be back to normal.

"I think having this road reopen is going to be big for the casino...obviously we've been down a little bit, because of the fact that people have to ride shuttles in, so once they start bringing in their own cars, I think we're going to get back to where we were before, and I think we're going to do great," said WinnaVegas Construction Manager Jonnathan Audiss

The casino is still giving customers a ride into the casino while crews fix the road. They hope to have traffic back to normal by Wednesday, August 31st.
