Siouxland's Most Wanted: Captures 97 and 98

Two of the first four fugitives ever featured on Siouxland's Most Wanted are finally busted.

They've been running from authorities since 2009, but today their luck ran out. The night we kicked off Siouxland's Most Wanted, October 26, 2009, we featured Justin Albertson. The next week we featured Rocky Grimaldo. The US Marshals Service told us at the time that the two were known associates.

Today, in Des Moines, they were busted by the Mid–Iowa Narcotics Task Force during the execution of a search warrant. Both used fake names, and both are now in serious trouble. Justin Albertson becomes #97 in the Siouxland's Most Wanted Custody Count.

Albertson, of Sioux City, was wanted on a charge of being a user of illegal drugs while being in possession of a firearm. He's facing new charges in connection with today's narcotics search warrant. Featured in our first segment, busted today.

Rocky Grimaldo was featured here November 2, 2009, the second week of what was then a brand new feature. On the run since then, the Narcotics Task Force's arrest makes Rocky Grimaldo the 98th featured fugitive taken off the street.

In 2009, Grimaldo was living in Sioux City. A known gang member, the US Marshals Service says he was wanted for several federal firearms violations, including a felon in possession of a firearm, conspiracy to possess a firearm with an obliterated serial number, failing to properly register as a sex offender - and now he's facing new charges in connection with today's narcotics search warrant.

We're now just 2 arrests away from the milestone #100. You can see a new edition of Siouxland's Most Wanted Monday at 9 and profiles of featured fugitives on our website.
